Hi, I'm Joe Porter — founder of JP Fitness, working across Newtownabbey. I'm a fully qualified Level 2 Fitness Instructor and Level 3 Personal Trainer.
Over the past 10+ years I've helped hundreds of clients achieve real fitness goals and body transformations. My main goal is to empower a healthier you by incorporating fitness and nutrition into your everyday life. Most clients notice changes in energy, strength and body composition within 3–4 weeks. Visible physical results typically become clear after 6–8 weeks, depending on your starting point, consistency and nutrition. Joe tracks your progress regularly so you can see exactly how far you've come.
Not at all. Joe works with complete beginners all the way up to experienced gym-goers. Every programme is built around where you're starting from. If you've never set foot in a gym, that's absolutely fine — Joe will guide you through everything at your own pace.
Joe works across Newtownabbey for in-person training. Online coaching is available to clients anywhere in the world — all you need is a phone or laptop and somewhere to train.
This depends on your goals and availability. Most clients train 2–4 times per week for the best results. Joe will recommend a schedule that fits around your lifestyle and gets you to your goal as efficiently as possible.
Yes — nutrition guidance is included with all packages. Joe doesn't believe in extreme diets. Instead, he gives practical, sustainable advice on eating to fuel your training and reach your goals without making food feel like a punishment.
Just let Joe know when you get in touch. He has experience working with clients with a wide range of injuries and health conditions and will adapt your programme accordingly. Your safety always comes first.

Absolutely. Joe has helped many postnatal clients get back into training safely and effectively. He'll make sure your programme is appropriate for where you are in your recovery and will build things up gradually. Many of his most inspiring transformations have been postnatal clients.
